International STEM Awards is online. It is an international platform that offers young people the opportunity to show their talent, cultivate their passion for the topics STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering (Arts) and Maths), enhance their skills in an international community.
It is the first platform aimed at young people aged 7 to 25 years at a global level with the aim of collecting and promoting in a single container projects that despite being carried out by young people with different skills and ages, address challenging issues in a logic of sharing and contamination.
The challenges proposed by the International STEM Awards touch on global issues of great topical interest, such as sustainability, energy and the environment, life science and space. The themes can be declined using known applications (software, robotics, artificial intelligence, etc. ..) and according to the interests, experiences of the participants offering them endless ideas and interpretations for the realization of projects: energy saving, recycling, reduction of human impact on the Planet, solutions to make cities more livable, design efficient buildings, improve the quality of food … and much more. First Meeting: November 30, 2019 opening of registrations. The projects will be awarded at Digital Week, Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Polytechnic of Milan – Bovisa and will see the participation of young people, fans, schools and universities.
