School of Marine Science \”Leon H. Charney\” is  looking for talented and motivated students to  pursue an MSc degree in their lab

Projects include:
1. Environmental microbiology and oceanography to study the role of rhodopsin phototrophy in ocean’s solar energy  capture and its regulation in contrasting nutrient regimes.
2. Host-microbe interactions to study the molecular mechanisms underlying the acquisition and  maintenance of bacteria symbionts in marine sponges.
These studies are part of international collaborations with research groups in the USA, Germany, Australia, Holland and Italy.
